How To Turn off Swipe To Go Back on Safari/Chrome : iPhone 14, iPad

Due to difficulty in opening pages iPhone user are looking to turn off swipe to go back. The Gesture control is from iPhone General setting and there is no direct way in safari to disable swipe back animation.

To turn off safari swipe back in iPhone You will have to makes changes in the iPhone General Settings.

• On your iPhone/iPad Open Settings app
• Go to General
• Now Go to Accessibility
• Look for Switch Control and tap to open it

• Go to Recipes

• Go to “Turn Pages”
• Here you will “switches” listed, such as “left to right swipe.”. You just have to delete it and the left Swipe will be disabled form Safari now.
