Fix Starfield unable to land on Planet “Not cleared for landing” ?

While trying to land on a planet some Starfield players are getting “Not cleared for landing” warning message and are unable to land on the planet. The issue is happening on different planets and thus the players can’t land on   Hopetown,  Neon or New Atlantis and are getting  message “Not cleared for landing”. If you are also facing this issue then this article will detail reason and possible fix for it.

Why I am getting “Not cleared for landing” Warning in the Starfield

Usually when you reach on a planet you cargo will be scanned and if you go to the pause menu before they finish scanning your cargo, this message appears.

But other reason you are not able to land on planet is you may have attacked a civilian outpost on that planet where you have to clear the pilots from the research station and had a bounty and yet not paid the fine. 

How to fix Starfield “Not cleared for landing” / Unable to land on Hopetown,  Neon or New Atlantis

Fix : Pay your bounty

Most common reason if you are not allowed to land on a  planet in Starfield is if you have attacked a civilian outpost on that planet where you have to clear the pilots from the research station then you will have a bounty. 

To solve this, you will have to pay the bounty first. To do that open up the console command and used <help “United Colonies”>. Find the faction code (should look like FACT: (###) ‘United Colonies’. Copy that code and paste in next line “player.paycrimegold 0 0 <code>”. It will deduct the amount from your credits and pay of your bounty. After this you will be able to land on the planet.

Fix : Die and reload the Game

If you have a bounty for attacking random ships then other pay to solve the bounty issue is to die and reload game until you get arrested and taken to the planet. After this you will be able to land on the planet.

Fix : jump to other system

A software glitch or bug in the game can also cause Not cleared for landing issue in the Starfield and to fix that you can simply try a workaround to Jump to another system and back, hopefully this will fix the issue.
