Many iPhone users are facing issue that their Phone number not associated to iPhone. Usually the iPhone uses who changed the SIM card and mobile carrier are reporting this issue that the iPhone keeps on showing pop up notification “This number is registered to your Apple ID but is not associated with this phone. You can keep using this number for iMessage and FaceTime until it expires.” It seems like that the iPhone is not recognizing the SIM card or phone number after changing the SIM.
Even changing the phone number from the phone setting does not fix the issue as the phone number changes are not saving on the iPhone. One user reported

If you are not able to update the phone number on iPhone after the SIM change then Try doing a Network Reset as Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This will fix any network glitches and delete any saved Wi-Fi networks and their passwords you have joined.
If iPhone is not updating the phone number after the SIM change then quick fix to simply remove number from iMessage and FaceTime, after this pop sim out and back in and restart the iPhone. Doing this should fix the issue and iPhone should get associated to correct number.
