Diablo Immortal initially designed for a mobile only, but now they have launched PC version and Blizzard is implementing Crossplay and cross-progression.
The new Cross Progression feature gives you flexibility to play the game on any device with progression tracked and saved. So if you start on mobile platforms, this feature will automatically transfer your progress over to the PC version of Diablo Immortal and vice versa.
For example as user on iPhone and iPad, logged into the same battlenet account on both Apple devices, but when tried to launch the game on iPad it just kicks out the character selection screen instead of continuing you have left on the iPhone.
The common reason why Diablo iImmortal Cross Progression Not Working is not working for you could be due to server issue. Please make sure that you are using exact same server on both device, else you won’t be able to do cross Progression on diffrent devices.
Till now players are not allowed to use character on a different server. This could be added in future but for now we will have to live with it.
If you are sure that you are playing on same server on diffrent devices and still cross play is not working for you then this could be issue with account. Please logout from the account from all diffrent devices then login again and check back again.
