  1. First, Turn the touchscreen of Peloton device off by holding down the power button and selecting “Shut Down”.
• 2. Hold down the volume up button and keep holding, make sure to hold the buttons properly as many users are unable to reset the Peloton due to improper hold.
• 3. Now Press the power button on the touchscreen until the touch screen powers on and the Peloton logo will appear

• 4. A menu will appear to the left of the Peloton logo, with “Select Boot Mode” and the options “Recovery Mode”, “Fastboot Mode” and “Normal Boot”.
• 5. Use the volume up to navigate and the volume down to select. Navigate using the up volume key to “Recovery” and use the down button to select it.
• 6. You will see a screen with text that says “No command.” From this screen, hold the power button, tap the volume up button, then release the power button. This will allow access to the advanced system recovery menu.
• 7. After this Use the volume buttons to navigate to “Wipe All User Data / Factory Reset” and use the power button to select it.
• 8. Now Confirm by selecting “Yes –Delete All User Data. Once the data has been wiped, select “Reboot System Now.”
• 9. Once done, You will then be prompted to log in to your Bike using your username and password, please login back and thus it will fix the Peloton stuck on update.
  How to Factory Reset  Peloton Tread
• 1. To reset the Tread to factory setting Flip power switch off and wait until the screen shuts off (
• 2. Now Hold down the volume up button and keep holding.
• 3. After this Flip power switch to turn the Tread back on while still holding down the volume up button.
• 4. Now When the touchscreen illuminated, release the Volume UP button.
• 5. Now should Navigate up and down with the respective volume buttons.
• 6. Navigate to “Wipe Data/Factory Reset” and press and hold either of the volume buttons until the color changes to select it.
• 7. Use the volume buttons to navigate to “Yes”.
• 8. Press and hold either volume button until it changes colors.
• 9. Press and hold either volume button until it changes colors on reboot system
• Once done the system will be booted and should be out of installation loop.
