Location Service Not Working after iOS16.6 Update: iPhone 14?[Fix]

After upgrading to latest iOS 16.6 and iOS 17 Beta 5 many user are facing issue that in iOS16.6 location services aren’t working in Maps, Google Maps, City Mapper or anything else.The location service stopped working in iOS 16.6 for most of iPhone/iPad users including iPhone 14,13, 12 mini,XS  Max ,iPad Pro etc.

Due to location issue in the iOS 16.6 many apps are not working properly like Google map,  the current location is shown the previous one 1-2 hour before and stop at that location, no navigation works after iOS 16.6.

How to fix Location / GPS not working in iOS 16.6 : iPhone 12,13,8,XR Pro Max, iPad

Fix : Reset location service

The location service in iOS 16.6 may have been glitched and to fix that please try to reset Location Service&Security in Setting of iPhone. To do that please follow below step:

• Go to iPhone Settings
• GeneralTransfer or Reset iPhone.
• Tap Reset then tap Reset Location & Privacy.
• If prompted, enter your passcode.
• Tap Reset Settings.

Fix : Hard restart the iPhone

Hard restart of iPhone will also fix any software glitch in the iPhone. If location services are not working then try hard rebooting the iPhone by following steps:

Please try yourself with force restart the iPhone.

1. Press and quickly release the volume up button.
2. Press and quickly release the volume down button.
3. Press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.

Fix : Restore iPhone Settings
